Event Goals

• Enhance Risk Assessment Skills: By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to identify and evaluate at least three local hazards and their potential impacts on the community using a standardized risk assessment tool.
• Develop Emergency Response Plans: By the conclusion of the workshop, participants will create a comprehensive emergency response plan for a specific disaster scenario relevant to their community, which will be reviewed and scored by evaluators for co
• Master triage and medical response procedures: By the end of the workshop, participants will accurately perform triage on at least three different simulated patient scenarios, achieving a minimum score of 80% on a practical assessment.
• Foster Psychological First Aid Awareness: By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to identify at least three signs of psychological distress in disaster affected individuals and outline appropriate support strategies.
