Event Goals

  • 1- Describe correct handling and use of suture instruments.
  • - Enabling the trainee to choose the right type of absorbable and non-absorbable sutures.
  • - Enhancing the trainee's knowledge of the types of sewing needles and how they are used and the skills needed to apply them based on the location of the wound.
  • - Knowing the skin anatomy and the method of wound healing, from which the trainee can determine the decision to close the wound or leave it.
  • This course also aims to raise knowledge about cleaning and scraping the wound and then re-suturing it by explaining the scientific part and then applying it on the ground.
  • - The correct methods for disposing of sharp tools and then closing the wound and what is the appropriate period for each wound and what are the medications that should be dispensed after each wound.
