Event Goals

  • 1. Goal: To improve the knowledge of indications and contraindications for instrumental deliveries.
  • Learning Objective: By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to accurately identify at least five indications and contraindications for instrumental deliveries, as assessed through a quiz or case discussion.
  • 2. Goal: To enhance proficiency in using vacuum and forceps for assisted births
  • Learning Objective: By the end of the workshop, participants will demonstrate proficiency in using vacuum and forceps, completing at least two practice sessions with appropriate technique, as observed by facilitators.
  • 3. Goal: To improve participants' ability to assess fetal positioning and station.
  • Learning Objective: By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to assess fetal positioning and station in 90% of simulated cases accurately, based on the facilitator's feedback.
  • 4. Goal: To enhance decision-making and communication in delivery teams.
  • Learning Objective: By the end of the workshop, participants will engage in two simulated delivery scenarios and show improved decision-making and communication skills, evaluated through peer feedback.
  • 5. Goal: To improve teamwork during assisted deliveries.
  • Learning Objective: By the end of the workshop, participants will demonstrate effective teamwork in at least two simulated deliveries, as assessed through facilitator and peer evaluations.
