Event Goals
- By the end of the activity the participant will be able to: Implement an updated approach in neonatal brain conditions.
- Apply the latest guidelines for cerebral function monitoring and NIDCAP (Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program).
- Demonstrate the best imaging modalities for preterm babies
- Determine the preterm neurodevelopmental outcome.
- Illustrate the special point in managing the neonatal pain that affect their outcome.
- Differentiate the difference causes of birth depression and the approach for each condition.
- Demonstrate the best evidence-based medicine for cerebral monitoring tools that help in early detection of serious conditions.
- Illustrate the information of neonatal neuroprotection in context with evidence-based medicine.
- Demonstrate the effect of NIDCAP (Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program) on preterm growth and development and score the role they are in children future.
- Modify of the important of conducting research in neonatal outcome and illustrate the opportunities in the daily work can be used as an idea for research.
